TrioXConverter’ Help (version 1.0.0.1)

1: Introduction

TrioXConverter is a shell extension utility that enables users to easily convert image file format, change image file size, rotate/flip image and add user defined watermark onto the private images.

TrioXConverter integrated with windows shell, to use it you just need right-click on the selected images and the Context Menu will popup like below:

2: Install/Uninstall

It is fairly to install TrioXConverter. Just follow the step-by-step instruction on the install wizard by clicking the “Next” button.

If you install it on windows vista with UAC enabled, the UAC warning dialog will pop up, then click on “Allow” to continue install TrioXConverter as shown below:

For uninstall the TrioXConverter, please go to Control Panel and select Add or Remove Programs to uninstall TrioXConverter from your system

3: How to Use

A: Convert Image Format

TrioXConverter support convert images from Bmp, Gif, Jpg, Png, Tif, Wmp, Emf, Wmf, Ico to Bmp, Gif, Jpg, Png, Tif, Wmp format. What you need to do is just right click on the images that you want to convert and then choose the corresponding submenu item. TrioXConverter will do the rest work for you.

B: Change Image Size

If your image file size is too large and you want to reduce the image file size,

Right click on the images that you want to change image size, choose TrioXConverter on System Context Menu and click Change Image Size, there is 3 options, 25%, 50%, 75% , choose the one that you wanted, see below:

For example, if the original image size is 1600*1200 and you choose 50%, then the image will be converted to 800*600.

C: Rotate/Flip Images

If you want to rotate or flip your images, Right click on the images and choose TrioXConverter on System Context Menu and click on Rotate Image submenu item, there is 5 options, rotate 180 degree and rotate 90 degree CW or CCW, flip horizontal or vertical, see below :

D: Add Watermark on Images

TrioXConverter provides the function to let user add user defined watermark onto the private images. Right click on the images that you want to add your watermark and choose TrioXConverter on System Context Menu and click on Add Watermark submenu item, if you already defined your watermark before, TrioXConverter will add watermark onto the selected image as you desired. If you have not define your watermark before, the configure dialog will popup let you define your watermark, see below:

TrioXConverter support text watermark and image watermark, you can choose it by clicking on the radio button “Text Watermark” and “Image Watermark”. You can change the font and color for “Text Watermark” by using font combo box and color picker on the dialog. “Opacity” slider let you change the watermark opacity. And you can also change your watermark location by “Watermark Location” control at the bottom-left of the dialog. When you change your watermark settings you can see the live preview on the bottom-right of the dialog.

E: Preferences of TrioXConverter

If you want to change the preferences for TrioXConverter, Right click on any image file choose TrioXConverter on System Context Menu and click on Preferences…., the preferences dialog will popup, see below:

you can change the settings for Png interlace , Jpg file’s quality level , and choose tiif compress options on the above dialog.

Windows XP and above,

.Net Framework 3.0 or above

10MB disk space,

High color or true color display

5: Purchase & Register

Please note that TrioXConverter is not free software. After a 14 days trial period you must either buy a license to continue use it or please remove it from your computer.

If you have purchased a license for TrioXConverter, Right click on any image file choose TrioXConverter on System Context Menu and click on About. You will see a dialog popup as below:

Input you email address and license number and click OK.
